WHAT DOES ACCREDIT UK CERTIFICATION MEAN?

Accredit UK is a quality mark that promotes trust in IT and helps suppliers prove their excellence. It proves to potential IT purchasers that companies holding the mark operate with appropriately skilled people and clearly defined processes, and that they have a track record of meeting customers' expectations.

  • Every company is fully assessed once every three years - Ostrich I.T passed our full assessment in July 2010 and re-audit in 2011
     
  • At this assessment, an independent assessor established that Ostrich I.T meets the required standards in all five areas of its business.
     
  • Ostrich I.T has met the requirements of General Expectations (which every company must meet) and in the segment of Solutions and Support
     
  • To ensure that it we continue to meet the required expectations and drive continual improvement into our business, we are required to undertake an annual Light Touch Review in the years between full assessments.
     
  • The Light Touch Review also ensures we are tackling those areas identified in our action plan for improvement. 

 

Visits are carried out annually. This is to balance the need for regular checks against freedom to operate by the certified company.
